Sexual harassment training should include descriptions of conduct that are not acceptable in the workplace, and whenever possible the training should include the particular realities of your workplace and the specific conduct related to your workplace that is not acceptable. For example: if there is a problem where employees are engaging their coworkers in inappropriate conversation or other harassing behavior at the company water cooler, potentially creating a hostile work environment, this and any other unacceptable conduct related to your workplace should be specifically mentioned in your company’s sexual harassment training. Training with real examples and scenarios that involve real occurrences from the specific workplace, organization, and/or industry makes the harassment prevention training more effective than if the training only includes examples that are less familiar to the employees. If you’d like to add any specific unacceptable conduct related to your workplace, please provide us with the information and we’ll add it to the training at no additional charge.
