Sexual Harassment Training Continuing Education

Continuing education in regard to sexual harassment training is vital for reinforcing key sexual harassment training topics and creating a safe and respectful workplace free of workplace harassment. It helps employees understand how to identify and prevent a hostile work environment and sexual harassment, as well as how to respond if they experience or witness it. Furthermore, employers who provide regular sexual harassment training demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a healthy and inclusive work environment. Compliance with legal requirements is also crucial as it helps organizations avoid lawsuits, reputational damage, and financial penalties. Therefore, regular training on sexual harassment prevention and response is essential for ensuring workplace safety and reducing liability risk.

Continuing Education

Continuing education is extremely important in the prevention of workplace harassment. The EEOC Select Task Force On The Study Of Harassment In The Workplace has stated “Training should be conducted and reinforced on a regular basis for all employees. … if anti-harassment trainings are regularly scheduled events in which key information is reinforced, that will send the message that the goal of the training is important.” Providing sexual harassment training in conjunction with sexual harassment continuing education, to employees at every level of the organization, helps ensure the effectiveness of the holistic sexual harassment training effort.
