LGBTQ Workplace Discrimination

LGBTQ workplace discrimination is illegal in the United States. Everyone should be able to live their life free from discrimination and harassment regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. Everyone should have access to the same LGBTQ rights and opportunities, services and benefits. Everyone should have protection from hate crimes and be free from a hostile work environment. No one should have to live in fear of persecution based on their sexual or gender identity.

LGBTQ rights are human rights. Everyone deserves to be respected and have their basic human rights acknowledged and protected. This includes the right to be treated without discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. The United States government takes proactive steps to ensure that LGBTQ people can work in an environment without LGBTQ workplace discrimination.

Discrimination against LGBTQ people is wrong and not acceptable. Everyone should have the right to work in an environment free of LGBTQ workplace discrimination and express themselves without fear of workplace harassment. United States laws are in place to protect LGBTQ rights and ensure that all individuals are able to live their lives in safety and with dignity, without discrimination against LGBTQ.
